I added Dave on facebook and asked if he ever figured out what a moon machine was? He hasn’t written back yet, but he did add me as a friend!
I think my favorite part is when I’m talking and i say…”I’m coming out with my first record………that I recorded in my bedroom!” I think they chopped and added this 2nd part and it cracks me up. hahaha

See, I told you they called my lyrics cheesy! And I TOTALLY agree. The thing is, I thought this was a vocalist contest, not a lyrics or songwriting contest, or WHOLE PACKAGE contest.
That is cool they judged that stuff, but I think Kaye Davis should have won. Her voice blew me away (except that one ending note, but you know she could NAIL IT! GO KAYE!)
The fact that we wrote 3 songs in less than a week makes it really hard to have your final draft of lyrics completed. Paul McCartney originally wrote “Scrambled Eggs” before he molded the classic songs of “Yesterday” so I don’t feel so bad about my ‘rough draft!’
(Regarding the edits where I sing: “Please Boys Don’t Cry”…..
Although I think it seemed KINDARIDICULOUS, this was one lyric I didn’t really want to change because this line was inspired by one of my all time FAVE SONGS:
